Cristian Ley

Cristian joined The Guild in 2010 having been in private practice with Eversheds and then Thrings. He is The Guild’s In-house Solicitor and runs the legal department. Cristian has 13 years’ experience in employment law, with a recent focus on tax and employment status.

Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young.
He has worked at the Guild for 15 years during which time he has supported clients in responding to various legislative and compliance challenges.
Before the Guild he worked in senior finance roles at BT plc, Sedgwick plc and Fuji Photo Film (UK) Ltd.

Peter has worked with The Guild since 2010 and is the Public Affairs Manager. He uses his extensive network of contacts across the political spectrum in order to stand up for the self-employed workforce in the UK and lobby on their behalf.

Richard Devall

Richard’s legal expertise and experience in employment, business immigration, inward investment into the UK and client global expansion programmes, means he provides advice at board level to his longstanding clients.
He advises clients on employee engagement and talent management; the employment and immigration aspects of business transfers, mergers and acquisitions and outsourcing arrangements; governance, compliance and board reviews; international employee transfers; whistleblowing and discrimination and high-level litigation involving the enforcement of restrictive covenants and risk management.
He is head of IBB’s Business Immigration team acting for businesses, high net-worth individuals, sports people and entertainers from around the world.
Richard has a particular focus on the defence & security, technology, construction, pharmaceutical, automotive and retail sectors.

Manisha-IBB

Manisha Fatania

Manisha is a solicitor in IBB Law’s Employment and Business Immigration team, specialising in both employment and business immigration law. She provides strategic immigration advice to organisations on the visa routes available to them to best recruit from the global talent pool. She also regularly advises clients on Sponsor Licence applications and on the ongoing compliance obligations of licensed sponsors.
Manisha also provides advice to individuals about their immigration status and the immigration routes available to them, as well as advising on applications under the EU Settlement Scheme, for indefinite leave to remain and for British citizenship.
